Professional Experience
2000 Jan - Present "Cybervision" Inc., Dolgoprudny, Russia
Programmer-Analyst

Partial-time working as a member of a team of a Java-programmers.

Network Topology analisys, development of XML Document Type Definitions for representation Network Topology and Alarming. Development of Java parsing and validating XML procedures to avoid errors in Network Topology representation.

Environment: Borland JBuilder, SNMP, Java, XML, Windows NT

1999 Nov - 2000 Jan "EmmiCARD" company, Ufa, Russia
Senior Programmer-Analyst

One of a group of control systems software and hardware developers.

Analysis and building the model of the petrol pump station; Device Drivers development; Serial communication specific protocols implementation; SmartCard technology, data structures and applications development (using ISO-7816 interface); I2C protocol RS232C-based software implementation.

I have developed the device drivers for the petrol pumps and the smart-card reader/writer. Specific GILBARCO protocol implementation as the Console Application, as the Device Driver and as the Software Model of a petrol pump behaviour and reactions. This software is placed over of 50 petrol stations, which are equipped by "Tankanlagen" petrol pumps and another Gilbarco-compatible pumps. Development of the interface and communication software to communicate PC and card-reader (developed by "EmmiCARD™", PIC-processor based universal cards reader/writer) for smart-, memory and microprocessor-cards: GFM ("GEMPLUS" free memory), GPM ("GEMPLUS" Protected Memory) and "Bull" CC60 (microprocessor cards). I have GPM/GFM mapping and data cryptography, SmartCard-based Applications and Data Structures development. I2C-protocol software implementation was made to modeling and building "EmmiCARD™" PIC-processor based Card Reader/Writer embedded procedures.

Environment: IBM PC, Borland C++, x86 Assembler, MS-DOS, RS-232C, "Tankanlagen" petrol pump, "Gilbarco" G-LINE petrol pump, "EmmiDRIVE™" card-reader, "GemPlus" Free and Protected memory cards, Bull CC60 microprocessor cards.

Mar 1997 - Nov 1999 "ArchProject" architectural company, Ufa, Russia
Programmer/LAN Administrator

Design and implementation LANs (Win'95 based LAN with and without separated server). Technical supporting of that LANs and peripheral output devices (such as plotters, printers, CD Writers etc.) Development of MS Personal Web Server based Intranet.

Environment: IBM PC, Windows'95, MS Personal Web Server, Borland C++.

Aug 1995 - Mar 1997 "LINK" corporation, Ufa, Russia
Programmer-Analyst

Performed Design and implementation of the corporate e-mail system.

The result was the full automatic E-Mail system, which operates without operator. That E-Mail system used ordinary commutable telephone lines and allowed to send data between 7 points (Central Office, Central Store and 5 another shops) automatically, using "night-time" schedule, without human at the terminal, using the low-cost night time to calling one another. That system allowed for shops to get the fresh status of the Main Store and send it's daily reports every night. Software analyzer of log-files was developed to optimize point-to-point e-mail routing.

Environment: IBM PC, Windows'95, MS-DOS, US Robotics modems, FIDONet Technology Network mailers, Borland C++.

Dec 1994 - Jul 1995 Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Ufa, Russia
Senior Specialist of Information Technology

Telecommunications, Info-marketing projects development and its' implementation.

Environment: Windows'95, MS DOS, US Robotics modems.

Nov 1994 - Nov 1993 "Myxa" Magazine Edition (publishing), Ufa, Russia
Senior Computer Graphics Engineer

DTP operation, Color separation and Pre-press preparing and control.

Environment: IBM PC, Windows'95, QuarkXRpess, CorelDRAW, Micrographics Picture Publisher etc.

Nov 1993 - Jul 1992 "INVIT Innovation" company, Ufa, Russia
Programmer-Analyst

Serial Communication IBM_PC<=>Macintosh; Conversion Macintosh PostScript files to bitmaps for pre-press processing.

Development of the system to convert Macintosh-made PostScript pages to the bitmap images. It was needed to use Macintosh with the Russian-made typographic machines. The result was the complete hard-and-soft solution, which allowed printing PostScript pages with such machines, as FLP-300 and LGA-1000 (even directly to offset forms). The GhostScript concept based PostScript interpreter was developed. The RS232C <=> RS422 converter was made as the simple hardware device, and the software program to connect Mac and PC was made during this project too.

Environment: IBM PC: Borland C++, x86 Assembler, Macintosh: Symantec Think C++, electronic measuring equipment.
Aug 1990 - Jul 1992 "Nefteautomatica" Industry and Science Concern, Ufa, Russia
Programmer-Analyst (Software Engineer)

C Programming, Real Time Objects Status displaying, computer graphics software development.

Part-time, 24 hours per week. Development of the dispatcher's part (human interface) of the complex automation system of the Oil Mining. The result was the Graphics Editor to build the schemes of the real objects (such as the oil mining devices and sensors, placed at the site). Then the Descriptive Language, named "Flint", was developed to describe the schemes, which were built by Graphics Editor, and it's interpreter, which takes data from binary database (filling by sensors and its software, placed at the oil mining site) to display real status of the objects and devices.

Environment: IBM PC, Borland C, x86 Assembler, electronic measuring equipment.

Reference to Edward Potapoff to get a letter of credence for that period.
